We only get one life. We get one try, and one take at this existence. Missy and I have decided to take the path less followed, and live life to the fullest. As one of my favorite authors says:
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the things you did." ~ Mark Twain
In 2018 we made the decision to walk away from our busy corporate lives and pursue our passions in life. We wanted to trade in unneeded personal belongs and luxuries for a life of true adventure and discovery. We sold our house and belongings, built our own Sprinter campervan and started traveling North America. This way of life is so freeing and exhilarating, we decided to hike the Appalachian Trail in 2019. That was an epic adventure of a lifetime too big to describe in this small space.
We knew there was no going back to our old way of life. So we created Traveling Outside the Baatz & put our efforts into something we are passion about. Our products, created by the love of outdoors and woodworking to help others get outdoors.
